1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving stock, relocating merchandise, sorting and loading products, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
