1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's warehouse team. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. The starting wage for this position ranges from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues related to product quality or safety.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
