Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight on assigned shifts. Your role will involve maintaining load plans, balancing loads for safe operation, assigning tasks, providing training and feedback, and fostering a positive and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operation.
• Assign tasks to workers and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and safe handling of materials.
• Support a team-driven culture focused on integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with experience in service center, transportation, or related fields.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight operations and safety regulations.
