We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in planning, supervising, and coordinating resources for the safe and efficient loading/unloading of freight. Your responsibilities will include maintaining load plans, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring a positive and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely and safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance.
• Assign tasks according to schedules and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling, loading, and storage of materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related fields.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
