ABF Freight is Seeking an Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join ABF Freight, part of the ArcBest family, located in Denver, CO. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in supervising and coordinating operations to ensure efficient and safe loading/unloading operations.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance of workers.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Work in a team setting and support a values-driven culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
