ABF Freight, a subsidiary of ArcBest, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our expanding team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing resources to ensure the efficient and safe loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely and safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks and coordinate work schedules for efficient operations.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment for personnel and customers.
• Promote safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related fields is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
