Caregiver

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join Charter Senior Living of Gallatin. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing professional care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities

• Maintain Charter Senior Living Mission and Core Values.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily activities.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily assistance provided and report any resident issues.
• Respect residents' independence, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Stay familiar with emergency procedures and equipment.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents and coworkers.
• Adhere to all Charter Senior Living policies and procedures.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience or willingness to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Capacity to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification may be necessary.
• Preferred experience with memory impaired adults.
