Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Follow company policies and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
