Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and follow the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and support customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Ensure inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
