Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member, you will be responsible for a variety of in-store activities including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your primary focus will be to enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service and teamwork.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat product displays
• Provide excellent customer service and support shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product issues, inventory inaccuracies, and other concerns to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies maintaining security and data confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team setting
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
