Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters
  • Conduct store inventory counts according to guidelines
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies and uphold document confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus
