Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
