Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Ensure outstanding customer care and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Supervise front desk team members to adhere to standard operating procedures and provide excellent service.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments such as housekeeping and reservations to meet guest needs.
- Participate in setting yield management strategies, marketing programs, and rates.
- Oversee front desk schedules, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Maintain front desk supplies, ensure computer equipment functionality, and uphold safety and security protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Representative or Front Desk Cashier.
- Supervisory experience in a similar role is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Evaluation Criteria
Support staff will be evaluated based on quality of work, attendance, courtesy, reliability, compliance with policies, and initiative.
Work Environment
This is a working supervisor position requiring flexibility in working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work is primarily performed in hotel guest rooms, public areas, and some office settings.
