Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This position offers 32-40 hours per week of work with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Report product feedback, inventory losses, and scanning errors to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
