Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness in the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and place products on shelves, including items weighing up to 45 pounds
• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role
