Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stock management, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Ability to use store equipment safely and effectively
• Experience in retail operations is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol handling and sales
