Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, cash handling, and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain a neat and organized store
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products and store operations
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and confidential environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
