We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Homewood Suites Richmond Innsbrook. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the hotel's physical structure to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. From minor repairs to routine maintenance tasks, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing minor and routine maintenance activities, including painting, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Replacing air-conditioner filters and overseeing heating and cooling systems.
  • Training and collaborating with maintenance staff to uphold quality standards.
  • Maintaining inventory and ensuring proper stocking of supplies.
  • Responding to guest room equipment issues and completing repairs efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
  • Technical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work with financial data and basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

This position involves long hours standing, manual labor, and physical activities such as lifting and bending. Candidates must have good physical condition to meet the demands of the job.
