Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources related to the loading/unloading of freight, ensuring safety and efficiency.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Service Center or transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
