Job Description

We are looking for Seasonal Cashiers to join our team at ALDI. As a cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and helping uphold our commitment to offering quality products at affordable prices. From assisting customers with purchases to maintaining inventory and ensuring a clean store environment, your contributions will help create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type:

Part-Time
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and adhere to company guidelines.
• Assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Ensure a safe shopping environment for everyone.
• Support store management in achieving operational goals.
• Process transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in cash register operations and customer service.
• Ability to follow company procedures and policies.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of company products and services.
• Compliance with state and local alcohol selling regulations.

Physical Demands

This role requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking around the store.
