Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for patient care to join our team. You will work in the Med Surg department, assisting RNs in providing essential care to patients. This is a staff position with night shifts, offering $32-52 per hour for 24 hours per week.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist RNs in daily patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Measure and record vital signs and patient data accurately.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform specimen collection, testing, and various patient care tasks as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and supplies in the nursing area.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide registration with the State Registry.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and excellent communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and push with proper technique.
• Functional vision and hearing.
• Exposure to various hazards requiring protective measures.
