Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Associate! In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, all while providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are orderly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issue resolution.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash-handling policies and uphold company procedures.
• Comply with company policies to ensure document and data security.
• Complete assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
