Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join Aldi as a Store Management Trainee. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of store management, with the goal of eventually running your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and implementing operational strategies while mentoring and developing team members.

Starting Wage

$27.50 per hour

Earning Potential

Up to $105,000 in the first year (inclusive of salary and bonus)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily operations.
  • Supervise team performance to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure store signage, product quality, and freshness standards are maintained.
  • Manage store staffing, schedules, and employee development.
  • Conduct store meetings, performance evaluations, and inventory management.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior retail management experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
