Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI, a leading retail company. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory, adhere to cash policies, and uphold company procedures

Physical Demands

Ability to perform stocking and lifting tasks, stand for extended periods, and engage in various physical activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently or in a team, and maintain organization
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is advantageous. Combination of education and experience considered.
