Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly organize shelves and displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash policies to minimize losses.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and other store equipment.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
