Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of meeting company standards for cleaning and operations
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
