Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your collaborative spirit with the ALDI team and dedication to exceptional customer service will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently
• Capable of safely using equipment and performing cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
