Job Description

Whole Foods Market is currently hiring Storewide Team Members for Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities. As a Storewide Team Member, you will work in various departments such as Bakery, Customer Service, Grocery, Meat, Prepared Foods, Produce, Seafood, Specialty, and Whole Body. The role involves providing support in customer service, stocking, and sanitation while maintaining a positive company image and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Prepare, package, weigh, and price products.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Ensure clean and well-stocked cases and shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Follow established procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Assist in inventory checks and pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of department products.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer service and time management abilities.
• Passion for natural foods and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Handling various motions, bending, and reaching.
• Exposed to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
• Work in wet and/or cold environments.
• Use tools and equipment for job tasks.

Compensation

The wage range for this position is $16.00 - $24.40 USD Hourly, with potential for additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. New entry-level Team Members may be eligible for a base rate increase after their first 90 days of employment.
