1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring efficient delivery of products to our stores. This is a part-time position with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise following warehouse guidelines.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to enhance processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and suggest improvements.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as required.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills and basic arithmetic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in various physical activities within the warehouse environment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
