1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Join Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler in our fast-paced and dynamic warehouse operations. Our dedicated team ensures that products are received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. This part-time position offers competitive pay starting at $23.75 per hour and an average of fewer than 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
