1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the team to achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and adherence to safety standards.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborative work environment.
• Displays positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle up to 45 pounds of product.
• Frequent movement throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
