1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are hiring for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member position at Aldi with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage is up to $19.00-$23.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The selected candidate will be part of this dynamic team that works specifically under Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input on process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation issues.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines while operating equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place product up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
