1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for efficient shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Perform tasks accurately within company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration with the team, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organizes tasks and follows company standards.
• Basic arithmetic skills and good communication abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
