1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's dynamic team. As a key member of the warehouse staff, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and warehouse leadership to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organizes and executes tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise and prepare product for deliveries.
• Perform various physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
