1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in achieving budget goals and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate industrial equipment.
