1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Conduct general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely in line with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success, as per ALDI Acts competencies.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and handle equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate industrial equipment.
