Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level and collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, architecture, or engineering and possess a deep understanding of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis for divisional real estate teams.
• Research alternative materials and methods for cost savings.
• Monitor market pricing for critical trades and provide pricing forecasts.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
