Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join the Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway team. As a Cook, you will work closely with the Chef to prepare and cook meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and uphold food quality standards. Your role will involve overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef and collaborating with the food and beverage team to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in food preparation and maintaining food quality.
• Ensure adherence to portion control and food quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to improve kitchen operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 3 years of hospitality experience.
• Proficient in English for communication with customers and staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle constructive criticism.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and internet browsers.
