Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operation
- Capable of operating store equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience equivalent
