Job Description
We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. This is a full-time position, with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the company's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
