Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. This position offers 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
