Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, operating the cashier, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and teamwork will be paramount to enhancing the shopping experience at Aldi.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exemplary customer service and assist shoppers throughout their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and follow company procedures
- Comply with company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is an advantage
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
