Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and efficiently.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience in a retail setting.
