Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the Aldi team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with team members to create a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
