Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a crucial part of our retail operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- General cleaning skills and adherence to company standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in retail is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
