1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our warehouse operations team at Aldi. As a part-time team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will collaborate with your peers and warehouse leadership to ensure smooth operations and contribute to achieving budgeted goals. This role requires individuals who can work both independently and within a team environment while adhering to company policies and safety guidelines. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work within ALDI Acts competencies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
