1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, relocating, sorting, and loading merchandise to fulfill orders efficiently. You will collaborate with team members, follow warehouse standards, and contribute to process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and budget goals.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic arithmetic and attention to detail skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
