1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving and fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input on process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect product quality and collaborate with management on safety and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
