1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. The role involves various schedules, including working weekends and weekdays based on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards, participate in inventory counts, and collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements, inspect product quality, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy items, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
