1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. You will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Act independently within responsibilities to achieve goals.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
